Film & Digital Still
Photographer

I suppose I'm primarily a "street photographer", even if I'm not not too strict about the definition. I try to find the extraordinary in everyday rural or urban life, a skill honed through observation, mistakes, and persistence. When the urge says, "capture this", I do it and ask why later. Sometimes, if and when everything aligns perfectly— skills, timing, light and luck—and I'll manage to freeze a unique and worthwhile moment onto a photograph. Capturing and sharing a feeling through a photo is challenging and I'm always in pursuit of that one epic shot.

Capturing the Essence of Urban and Rural Life Through Street Photography

Capturing the Essence of Urban and Rural Life Through Street Photography

Street photography brings to life the essence of human interaction in both cities and rural areas, capturing the bustling life of urban settings and the quiet moments in rural spots. City scenes display the diversity and vibrancy, while rural images show the interplay between people and nature. Each photograph tells a story, allowing viewers to see and feel the shared human experiences.

Focus on Global Street Photography

Although rural Arizona offers many interesting scenes, my main focus is on street photography in Japan, Vietnam, and Philippines street captures. Below are some sample images from various subjects and locations. I use both film and digital cameras, selecting the best tool for each situation. For film shots, I personally handle the development of both black and white and color films.

Here are a few example images from a wide range of subjects and places. I equally use both film and digital cameras – whatever works.  For film photography, I do all both the B&W film and color film development myself.
