Color Film Photography
Even though we’re in the 2020’s, color film photography still holds a special place. There’s a warmth and depth to it that digital can’t quite match. The grain and chemical processing give each image an organic, timeless feel, creating a physical artifact you can hold and share, which makes it feel like a genuine snapshot of the moment.
Shooting with color film keeps me more thoughtful about composition and exposure, and gives me a real connection to the art. The anticipation of waiting for the developed shots adds excitement, and when those rich, vibrant colors finally come through, it’s totally worth it. Every frame becomes something personal, with that signature film “look” that’s hard to replicate digitally.
Despite the convenience of digital photography, color film keeps me grounded in the craft. That physicality and the distinctive look of film will always have a place. Every image here is a testament to how relevant and beautiful film photography remains today.
